    Yes, you are right about the emergency fund. It really makes a difference for the financial bumps that come along in life.

    Many great ideas that we often hear but often forget or don't sincerely put into practice. I'm already in line to read "Miserly Moms" at the library and have new motivation to reevaluate my own family's budget. Thanks for a great article!

    Having a plan is critical and I'm glad this article really emphasized budgeting and planning ahead. I think it could have stressed the importance of an emergency fund of at least 3-6 months. This only will give a family sense of security and peace.
