    I watched FireProof and thought it was pretty lame with some poor acting.

    I thought it was interesting that this movie contains two themes that LDS people will identify with, even though it wasn't made by LDS people: 1. That people want to make covenants with God (that's what the resolution made by the characters in the film was), and 2. the belief that families are eternal.

    I loved Courageous. Although at times it was a little cheesey and amateurish (i.e. several of the scenes with the Hispanic family), the message shines through. I have been recommending it to all my friends.
