Corporations with overseas operations would also face an unspecified minimum tax on their foreign earnings
Here we go with election year pandering. If this it is such a good idea to
lower taxes on corporations to "create jobs" where was it 3 years ago?
You just gotta know it is just the election year circus, in the end it
will not lower taxes for corporations. It will just make it look like it does
on the surface, all in the name of votes.Let's see some real reduction in
government and the national debt.
This is a step in the right direction. - RedShirt | 11:51 a.m. Feb. 22, 2012
... Wait... Wait! Redshirt are
you...saying you AGREE with President Obama?? Oh my stars and
garters! Lets follow up this momentous occasion (sarcasm) with... 'Recomend' = Click.
This is a step in the right direction. Better would be to eliminate all
corporate taxes for income generated within the US, and a minimal tax on money
generated outside the US. If we could attract the companies that have their HQs
to relocate here, it could easily make up for the lost revenues through the
employee income taxes and taxes on money made outside the US.
The government needs to start living within its means instead of forcing
everyone else to live within even less means.
