Go Red Devils!
The Cyprus ladies reprented the west side very well, all year long. It's been awhile since we've enjoyed some competive basketball out this/our way. Cyprus' first ever region title was captured by these ladies and it will forever shine brightly in the old school's trophy case, hopfully next to a picture recognizing their accomplisment. 20-2, not too bad, at all!!!
Thanks for the memories Lady Pirates!!!
Evidently Region 6 girls basketball was not very good. Four teams, four games and out. And the closest game was an eight point loss. Disappointing.
Region 6 wasn't a bad region. Region 8 was just better from top to bottom. Their were no easy games in Region 8. You had to come ready to play every game.
@Softballdad from WX
Maybe you should give a little respect to those teams in Region 8.
Let's see how the tournament plays out...
@unbelievable
Congrats to the the Cyprus Ladies.
They were fantastic, despite the weak coaching. Parkinson is a stud athlete. I hope that Cyprus can get a coach that can develop the talent out there.
Otherwise, those transfers are wasted.
If those girls played for Sidwell at WX, they would be playing on Saturday!
