A valuable sentiment that should be given honest consideration. No need to be
driven by hate and racism, disguised by a law and order argument. Good letter.
It seems as if I am already paying into the U.S. and State Treauries so the
illegals can stay.
Wallace Hanyes, so how much money will you donate to the U. S. Treasury to help
pay for the food, clothing, home of the American worker displaced by the illegal
foreign worker. Or does your charity only extend to the foreign family?
Left-wing liberals are quick to throw out red herrings when it comes to illegal
immigration. Indeed, the left delights in accusing anyone who opposes illegal
immigration of being a racist. The irrefutable fact is that racism has nothing
to do with this issue. Those who oppose illegal immigration are just as opposed
to illegal immigration from Great Britain as they are to illegal immigration
from Central America, Central Asia, or Central Antarctica. The
Founding Fathers established this Great Nation on the central principle that all
persons within its borders must obey the laws. The Fathers knew that disrespect
for one area of laws inevitably leads to disrespect for all other areas of law.
We cannot maintain our quality of life if we continue to overrun by immigrants
who have no respect for the law.No reasonable person opposes legal
immigration. This Country has benefited, and will continue to benefit from
those who obey the law and follow proper procedure when they immigrate to this
Country. However, illegal immigration leads to crime, addiction, and poverty
that lowers the quality of life for all.
We have all paid money into the U.S. Treasury. We have all accepted the laws of
this Nation. Not one of us has the right, either as a citizen or as an elected
official, to modify those "rights" except through the methods
established by the Constitution. No one can enter this country except
through the provisions established by law. The law has set a quota and has set
the method by which each alien can enter into this country. Those who obey
those laws are welcome. Those who disobey those laws are criminals. That is not a hard concept to understand, unless, perhaps, you are a Democrat
who is looking for votes. No one can enter this country unless he has
obeyed ALL of the laws pertaining to entrance into this country, unless you are
someone that Obama wants to be here illegally.Laws are put into
place to protect everyone, not just those who want to come to America, but also
to protect Americans against those who come here illegally. The
President has sworn an oath to uphold those laws. Unfortunately, President
Obama thinks that he is immune to his oath of office.
Thank Goodness for the common sense posts by Americans who believe in upholding
the Constitution and the laws of this Promised Land. Everyone can earn the
privilege to become a US Citizen, but they must do it legally or else they are
here as criminals. All LDS members should also believe in obeying the laws
of this great nation. To pay for criminals, makes you a criminal and part of the
huge encroachment problem which is overtaking and undermining America from
Be my guest. Also, there is a plan in Mexico called "Dos por Uno".
You donate one amount and the Mexican government matches that amount. You can
stipulate where you want the money spent. There is no limit on how much you can
donate. This would save relocating a family or families. I have some refugee
organizations in Sudan that I favor. Probably 2-3 billion people in the world
need some financial support. Your donation will help.
Wallace, why are you encouraging illegal behavior? Immigrants are wecome here,
provided that they come through the front door, papers in hand, ready to abide
by our laws. All others need not apply, because anything else is illegal and
should be discouraged at all cost. You probably think it's okay to speed too, as
long as you don't get caught. Am I right?
