So BYU has a chance to make the tournament this year and Randy Hollis and the Cougar Nation are giddy about it...
Consider this...
In probably the most successful decade in BYU basketball history, and with their best player in 3 decades, BYU has won only 3 NCAA tournament games.
By comparison in probably the worst decade in their basketball history, Utah has also won 3 NCAA tournament games.
College basketball legacies are made in the tournament, not in conference play.
Notwithstanding their recent success, BYU basketball has a dismal tournament record and if they make it to the tournament this year will be no different.
Didn't you mean the worst decades in Utah basketball? The end to Utah's losing is far from over.
Just remember you have to make the tournament (in Utah's case any tournament) to win a game, something Utah fans haven't seen and are not likely to see in a long, long, long time.
