Short memories. The games were heading towards disaster. The fear in Utah was that tax payers would be stuck funding the shortfall and have a liability from the games.

Instead, Romney came in and turned it around. The 2002 Olympics generated surplus...I believe the first Olympics to do so in years.

Interesting that the Post would run an article criticizing a Republican candidate LOL.
