"Mexican drug cartels in Salt Lake..." reports the Deseret News.
But, but, but.... we are repeatedly told by SLC Police Chief Burbank, Attorney General Shurtleff and numerous "immigration advocates" that illegal immigration does not lead to increased crime.
Therefore, are we to believe that those "Mexican drug cartel" members arrested must have waited patiently in line and come here legally with valid visas?
Pretending crime does not exist will never eliminate it.
We need to be honest, and admit that illegal immigration is a major factor in crime, especially drug related crime, in Utah. The late Police Officer Josie Fox certainly would agree, even if Chief Burbank does not.
Utah is throwing out the welcome mat. Passed the bill,said "come on down" and here they come folks.
Obviously, the state legislature is right. They ARE just here to "make a better life for themselves", and "doing the jobs most of us WON'T do
