Comments about ‘BYU vs. Pepperdine: Report Card’

Boy, wish I could get a B, an A- and a B in college and come out with an A. Didn't see the game, so can't judge. I just like this kind of averaging.

@Dumprake. I thought the same way when comes to overal grading which was interesting. But, why gradking only on BYU and not others in the state of utah and the Jazz?

And there still not ranked!!

Dumprake: The last grade was for the overall team, which was an A. That's the collective, the synergy, the sum of the parts. Even though the different positions didn't do perfectly, the team did. DEW Cougars: Mr. Gurney is a BYU beat writer. That's why he only grades the Cougars.

I think this year's team has excelled, given they lost Jimmer and have a lot of youth, not to mention the injuries. I'm excited for what might happen in March (hope they get in), and especially for what's coming down the pike in future years.
