Perfect from the free throw line. Pretty decent defense. Foul trouble and TERRIBLE FG% until the last 4 minutes killed us. Wash couldn't manage to keep himself on the court for 2 minutes without fouling, giving us no presence inside other than a few decent plays by Javon. You have to make perimeter shots if you're at that much of a size disadvantage and 7 of 30 from 3-point land doesn't cut it. Get the shot right for Arizona Saturday, we're gonna need it.

That was one ugly game.

It doesn't get much more pathetic than having your leading scorer barely scoring in double-digits.

Sure glad baseball and a trip to Omaha is coming soon for my Utes.

StGtoSLC, you must have forgotten. You know, GO tattoo U!

"Skid" I think the better word is plummet.

"There's no negative momentum." Really? Puhleeeeease. If that's the case, that's one positive coach. Look at the article's title. Krystko would probably have entitled this article, "Despite Positive Momentum Utes Lose [Again]." Wow...

TandJ, forgotten what? That the intolerant somehow connect a person's image to their skill level, and debase their status in society? No, I'm afraid I realize I'll have to deal with those types no matter where I go. Just glad that I can see past it myself.

StGtoSLC, by skill level, I assume you include good judgement. So you feel that an intolerant person connects a persons good judgement with his image? I hope even the tolerant may do that also. I am glad that you are not intolerant, and that you think that adulterating your image is exercising good judgement. But, I think that we ought to be teaching our youth that their image is indeed important, and will become more important as they continue to live out their life. Making heros of adulterated images on a basketball court is not, to my thinking, teaching the right principle. So, I will continue to try to induce those who have not yet adulterated their body to think again before doing it.

Joe L from ESPN has only two teams from the pAC getting into the big dance, and three WCC teams. Good thing the Utes are in the pAC, Zero conference wins would have been hard to swallow.

"by skill level, I assume you include good judgement."

You assume wrongly. By "skill level" I'm talking about BASKETBALL, which is the topic of the article, not looking like a presidential candidate. What somebody else decides to put on themselves is their business, not mine. Your perception of an "adulterated image" in someone else's mind is remembering the death of a close friend.

If someone doesn't want their kids to look to LeBron James to how to dress and treat their skin, I would say they should teach them otherwise. But the thought that there is only one "right" way to live, even if others' choices do not encroach on their rights as human beings does show intolerance.

It sounds as if the presence of a standard is your definition of intolerance. You'll do better sticking to BB scores.

StGtoSLC, I see that you are really into the game of basketball. I guess for some reason you don't think that playing basketball involves good judgement. One does not need to show good judgement to play on your team. You don't think that it involves good judgement as to whether to pass to a person open in the paint or take the 40 foot jump shot. No wonder you are enamored with tattoo U.

Hemlock, just because I don't expect every person to live the standards I choose to live does not mean I don't believe in standards. My personal standard also includes getting to know a person's character through how they treat others, their honesty, and ability to exhibit accountability for their actions. I know dozens of people with tattoos who I would endorse over dozens of people I've gone to church with over the years who have the veneer of a clean-cut, responsible individual, but really treat people terribly and were very dishonest.
