Holy Cow!
Are you implying we are a nation of BORGs!
Within a single Collective of mind and reasoning?
Resistance is Futile.
You will be become One with the Borg
Scarey.
This is great sentiment, but it flies in the face of the fact that governmental decisions are being made by fewer and fewer people. Citizens United has allowed the very, very rich to fund candidates that will then be beholden to them. A wise and successful businessperson only invests when they know they will get a return on their money. So don't buy the old "I'm not influenced by the people who contribute to my campaign" line from Politicians. We are entering an age where fewer people have more of the money and with Citizens United, money equals votes.
