...and the shores of Scofield Reservoir will soon be off limits to the public.
Too bad they already had to pay for their plots and the original developer got that money...now families will have to come up with much larger monies to pay the debt...
Meanwhile the original developer walks off with money in his pocket.
We're all in danger of having our homes taken by the Government due to Eminent Domain.
Senator Hatch and all of his big government buddies fight this kinda thing if it will help them stay in Washington- it's all just a game for them.
Give Hatch the boot. How can anyone stand for the NDAA?
Him being Finance Chair wouldn't be better then anything we've yet had- he's got 7.6 trillion of debt baggage
Be careful what you wish for, my uncle had a similar arrangement in Montana and had to pay over $60,000 in for past property taxes in addition to his repurchase from the government.
At least our senators are working for the people of Utah regardless of political this or that. You all whine about Hatch and say get rid of him, or that someone could do no worse; think about this: Does it not make more sense to have a senior member of the senate representing your state? A man who has at least some power in Washington and can at least get some things done for this state? Senator Hatch is an elder statesman and a respected man in many circles. He is also one of the more principled and honest of the lot. Don't believe me? Search the records yourself.
This is good legislation.
