It appears the site was taken down by the hosting service for violations in their terms of service. Just another indication that Josh Powell's supporters are as crazy as everyone has believed. My only wish is that the case could be wrapped up with some arrest(s) so we can put this chapter behind us.

The boys were in a home with a father that is susupected of murder and a grandfather who was just put in jail for hundreds of photos and video of women and children in the nude. These women and children have been victimized in a way that will always be with them. Josh did nothing to stop this.Who knows what else will be found. The boys are safe now. If there were any cause for alarm with the grandparents they now reside with social services would be on it right away.
The comment from Resolute is very short sided. Does he think that the media knows everything involved in the case against Josh and his father? Social services would not have been able to remove the children without cause. Thank goodness the grandparents have taken these children to safty.

The boy's mother didn't simply abandon her boys and walk off the face of the earth. Most husbands and fathers would have wanted to help the police find her. Josh was strangely silent.

For those with a short memory these boys were taken out of their father's home because Josh's grandfather who was living with them had been arrested for possession of child porn.

The reason for the removal of the children -- that Josh's father who was living with them had been arrested for possession of child porn -- is no longer present. Josh has removed himself from his father's house. There is no longer any reason for the children to be kept out of his custody.

To cheffy chef -- there is no evidence, much less proof, that Susan Powell is dead, much less murdered. There is no evidence, much less proof, that she was harmed in any way by Josh Powell. There is no evidence, much less proof, that Josh had any idea what his father was doing. ResoluteVoice is right (quoting him/her) -- Josh has not been convicted or even charged with a crime in court. There are elements of this case that appear over dramatized. The police department and DCFS (my addition -- and the public) have rendered a guilty verdict without a trial, and no one has done extensive digging into the motives of the grandparents. The media has done a fantastic job of adjudicating this case.

This reminds me a lot of what happened to Richard Ricci.

It's time for the children to go home to their father.

Anyone can make a website and say that it is someone else's site. The comments appear to be the comments of the father of the boys and not an uncle that hasn't put out that kind of discussion before.

I think we should leave this to the people in Washington who deal with these issues all the time and advocate for the children. We don't want these children becoming pawns in a larger dispute over the disappearance of their mother.

Josh tells us that Susan has r-u-n-n-o-f-t with another man and despises Susan so much for leaving the way she did that he doesn't leave a "light on" for her.

So, why does Josh still wear his wedding band? Is he really this shallow, or did he divorce Susan and remarry?

With a custody hearing scheduled for Wednesday, the timing of the launch of this new website is certainly fortunate for Josh Powell, isn't it?

Dear Flurry,
My point is that you cannot possibly know everything the police know. You cannot poosibly know everything that DCFS knows. Releasing all of the evidence to the media would seem to be counterproductive.
I understand that he has not been convicted of anything but to say there is no evidence against him is not appropriate. If there were no evidence DCFS could not have removed the children.
The charges of child pornography are not just against the father. Josh faces charges as well.

Does Josh have more than one brother? Or is this the same brother that was written about last year?

Seems pretty simple to me.. Either charge the guy or return his children to him. He was not a suspect of murder. He was a person of interest.
I think the guy is far from perfect but they are his children and big brother should either charge him or stop harming his relationship with his children.

Yes, I suppose it is possible that Susan Powell has gone on an extended vacation without her children. If they don't find her body the killer will go scot-free. It is unfortunate that Josh has shown no interest in clearing himself from suspicion.

Can we try and use some common sense here, please? You have to weigh one home against the other. Two grandparents in a safe environment is better than a father, who is still under investigation in the death or disappearance of his wife with a father who is a child pornographer and voyeur. There is no comparison. Safety is the number one issue for the children, regardless of the adults. Even if there is only a slight chance Joshua Powell did kill his wife, then we would be taking a chance with his children as well if he gets upset with them. In addition, the courts will ask the children where they want to be and weigh their desires as well as what is best for them. Lets not try this issue when we really do not have the facts and let the courts and police do their jobs.

It would probably be more comfortable for him if he had, but he has no duty to do so. It appears that Josh Powell actually did what his attorney told him to do -- keep his mouth shut when it became apparent that the police were trying to "tag" him for the crime. If innocent, he has no duty to provide information that could be twisted against him. If guilty, he has no duty to incriminate himself. That's how the law works, pursuant to the constitution.

It sounds to me as if the matter will be "under investigation" until the children are old enough for social security.

For a family with a father that Josh has and the father Josh's kids have and if Michael actually made this website and not Josh for his own purposes to influence the judge and public, what a catastrophe for those children.

The Powell family with the leader in jail for abuse type stuff and failitating Josh for 2 years, more or less.

Josh has never come forward to help one bit to find the children's mother nor show any grief. The only grief he has shown is when people try to pin him down on what really happened. What a sad guy to have any children around.

Its time for the children to return to the father. Another example of government overstepping it's boundaries.

It's time to these children's mother. Surely you wouldn't want the children returned to their father if it turns out that he was involved in her disappearance.

If my wife and the mother of my children mysteriously disappeared I'd do everything within my power to help find her ...... and so would every other decent man I know.

Well, Josh got his children back on a "supervised" visit. Looks like the grandparents were right--he was dangerous to his children. Unfortunately, it's too late now for them. God bless them--and the grandparents who tried so hard to keep them safe.
