I just love it!! First you keep this scum bag in a hospital, saving his life. His bill it will be paid by the taxpayer, then you now, going for the death penalty.. Why not let him die in the first place?

I'm not one to judge this man, we'll let the Lord do that. None of us know what he was and is going through during all of this.

No, actually it will be a judge and jury to do that. If convicted this suspect may get the chance to explain it all to St. Peter at the Pearly Gates sooner rather than later.

What a terrible title to this article! Another classic job DN. Such a miss-nomer. Why not title the article, "Ogden man charged with shooting 6 officers, killing 1, now in custody" or simply add "... released from hospital and now in custody"

Will putting this man to death bring back Officer Francom or change anything that happened? Can anyone picture Jesus administering a lethal injection? If not, we shouldn't be doing it either. President Bush named the "Axis of Evil" back in 2001. What does the United States have in common with all of those countries? Capital punishment. How about we evolve and let this guy live.

I am just wondering how in the heck 1 guy can shoot 7 officers. Have you noticed they have never talked about the gun. If it was an automatic rifle they would have been sure to point that out. It was probably a hand gun and a poorly executed warrant. The whole thing is a tragedy, but one I can't help but wonder if couldn't be avoided. Sad :(

This case is still under Investagation and those type of facts willn't be release to the public until it done. The man is charge with capital murder and facts will be keep that he gets a fair trial. if the man is found guilty of all the charges I hope he gets the death pently. I also believe that the man thats been charge with these crime has a right to a fair trial, and medical care, reguardless if he get the death sentence or not. Lets not trie this case in the media, lets do it in the court room, what has happen to you people wanting to try this case in the media and not the court room. You all want your cake and eat to. Leave the justice system work, it may not be perect, but it's the best we have at this time.
