I find it amazing how children become Seniors in High School and all of a sudden the parent(s) no longer have a say so in their life. This has been a constant issue with my 17 year old this year who has been a great student. Last week she informed me that she was going to pay for college herself with out student loans and since she was not going to need my help paying I have no say so in where she goes to college.
