Curious about the title. Sounds dark and maybe misleading about the books true content.

Thanks for your question about the title of the book. It's a comedic take on the practice in the Old West of hanging horse thieves. Rather than being a murder mystery, this is a book about horsicide - dead horses as opposed to dead people - so the title does fit. Be thinking, Clint Eastwood, only as a little old lady. :)
