How many of BYU's class would be considered "athletes"? You know, the kind of kids you need to go undefeated, win BCS bowl games like so many other teams have done.

These kids are going to be great. Obviously they will play for the National Championship this year. They might even win several Heismans.

To answer your question....

All of them. Recruits are nothing until they prove it on the field. Many don't live up to their stars, other out perform them.

I don't know, since so many other teams go undefeated every year, I guess you couldn't consider BYUs kids to be athletes. I guess only teams that get lucky and go undefeated every year are considered athletes. Your team doesn't have real athletes unless they go undefeated every year.

But thank God we have the University of Utah's fan base to remind us all that they are the only university in the United States of America that recruits athletes. As I type this I'm teary eyed and greatful to be living in this wonderful state where I may bask in their glory. Oh how unworthy am I. This was foretold. A university would God raise up, a university whose shoes I am not worthy to latch. And just when we were on the midst of being taken up......this university lost to Colorado. And the fan base has the gall to talk down to us about recruiting.

It is funny that only ute trolls are the one's talking about BYU being the next National Champions, then other ute trolls quote them to make fun of BYU fans. It is kind of like inbred thoughts from BYU haters.

So where did that 5 star athlete Hays get recruited from again? Or Heisman winner Wynnie? and why didn't the U go undefeated this year? Or go to a BCS bowl? How could that be with all the 5 star Pac athletes they recruit now? Just don't add up.

Thanks for stopping by Otis and Chrisy... after all the hype about our little brothers leaving us in the dust, it's nice to see that U still care. You do realize what a "quest" is, don't you, Otis?

Kind of like a goal. Which is the reason the shirt says "Quest for Perfection" rather than "disgruntled, wanna-be 2008 National Champions", like so many kids on the hill still pretend to be.

A least BYU didn't hang a banner on LES stadium proclaiming "We're #2".

Wonder if the Utes will make to Omaha since they have declared their intentions to go for the NCAA World Series?
