Normally I'd be more speculative about what this Hogan guy is saying, but given what I know about Winder, I'm inclined to believe a good part of what he's saying...

I wonder if Richard Burwash is named in the suit. One never knows who Mayor Winder wants to be.

I couldn't care less about Winder, Hogan, or Utopia.

They'll all get their day in court.

The BIGGER issue is Utopia, and how much more and how much longer will we be throwing good money after bad.

The initial concept was (maybe) somewhat sound, the problem is UTOPIA just keeps telling the remaining cities who are on the hook for its completion to pay and pay and pay........

Several cities recognized a couple of years ago that it was a "black hole" moneywise and withdrew. That leaves the remaining cities on the hook to pay for it or lose everything they've invested.

It was a bad decision by the cities and now none of the cities want to admit that they made a mistake in agreeing to pay for it.

Would Winder be running for SLCo Mayor if Romney wasn't a strong candidate for the GOP nomination? I think not.

Winder's political ambition and lack of remorse scares me. He's exemplifies the ultimate career politician - running to massage his own ego rather than to serve the public.

Wow. Winder really is a dishonest creep. Writing an article defaming another person under a fake name, that he had no business writing. Winder needs to go back to milking cows, glad my city doesn't have a crook for a mayor.

And if Utopia is awarding contracts to insiders there's a real problem there. I wonder if the AG's office is investigating such practices.

In my opinion UTOPIA is an organization with shady business practices. Centerville got roped into supporting UTOPIA through some local government leaders who had a disclosed conflict of interest and now the taxpayers are stuck with paying for the bond.
This story just corraborades everything that I have heard about it.
