Seems like every time ute fans believe their team is better than their 300 record ranking they are reminded quickly the next game. Shocking blowout. I look forward to the humbling next game

at least most ute fans admit that our basketball team is in shambles and recognize that we're rebuilding.

a team that had several players leave
a team that had to find a new coach
a team that had to find a new coaching staff
a coaching staff that had to put together a rag tag group of young men in very little time
a team that just dismissed it's best player (for the second time)
a team that just won its 5th game of the year and its 2nd conference game.

already sounds like pretty humble circumstances to me.

I'm extremely excited to see what this Utah coaching staff will do with a full roster and some better players.
I started saying it early in the season and I'll say it again now, good things are coming and they're coming A LOT quicker than most people think.
And before someone says it ... yes there will be more games with Utah on the wrong side of a blowout and there won't be many more wins if any. But the foundation is being built and it's looking STRONG!
Next season will be very interesting.

That goes without saying. 6-13, and putting up only 43 points in an entire game speaks for itself. I'm pretty sure my intramural team could have beaten ASU tonight. Oh wait, I'm pretty sure they were beaten by an intramural team tonight...

As bad as UTAH is, it is hard to imagine how totally inept the 1-25 COUGARS really were.

3 Senior starters, and yet 1-25 was the best BYU could do.

And that conclusion is not smack, my friend, that conclusion is verifiable fact.

Yes, byu had a bad loss on Thursday. No way around it. I still feel ok about our ball team.

Looks like we got another win tonight. Lil sisters did too, surprised me quite a bit. I'm happy the utes are bad and that my comment bothered you!

Utah making a strong midseason push to catch up with College of Eastern Utah's for 6th best basketball team in the state. Going to be an exciting rest of the season for these two schools!

I'm actually just joking friends - I've said many times before, I think Utah will win several more games this year and become a very respectable team in the coming years.

I think coach crisco is a good hire and the Utes will be fighting in the Pac 12 in another year or two. Good win guys!

Considering the disastrous events on the Hill the last few years (orchestrated by AD Chris Hill, it is starting to look like there might be some postive signs that the U is starting to turn things around. Best wishes for continued improvement guys.
