Is Utah so short of money it must sell all our water and tax invested funding to add more strife on the people of Utah? Utah has sold its irreplaceable water to nuclear waste companies from the Colorado and now Flaming Gorge, both projects of the Colorado river. Utah legislators are inflicting untold and unmeasurable harm on the future of Utah and the farmers and ranchers of this state for a few dollars greed.
I am beginning to wonder it the opposition of the Nevada water grab isn't just a token objection to Nevada as a means to blackmail Nevada to get more money for our water rights, our water, to put the states future at risk.
If this is the work of Gov. Herbert then it is another sign to getting him out of office and the state before he keeps destroying Utah. Federal government has done nothing to Utah compared to what this governor has destroyed.
What I wonder is why they don't take water from the Columbia river, that and the Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, or Red River all these tributaries supply water, and all could benefit the lower states that lack the water they need, maybe build canals to these states that need it and supply them, also they would provide a run off area in case of a flooding like they get on the Mississippi, they could draw off of it and possible avert issues like that from happening, plenty of water, just noone thinking outside the box in order to do it. It seems like a complete waste, and with rivers like these running out to sea, that is a waste that could be used by millions.
