Well written Ami. Your description brought me to tears at work. God bless the Francoms and police officers everywhere.
I so hate having to read stories about fallen police officer's this article was extremely well written its sad when people that protect us from the criminal element lose their lives..my sympathy to the family this man is truly a hero
With all honor to the officer, the lawmakers responsible for this situation ought to be ashamed. Marijuana is less addictive than tobacco and less intoxicating than booze, yet both are legal. The anti-marijuana law is sending millions of young people to jail, ruining lives, and putting law officers at risk. I'm with Gov. Johnson of New Mexico who says it needs to be repealed.
Irony Guy, politics is the bane of civilization. Politics in many cases is what gets people killed.
However, I am writing to honor this brave man for following his orders and doing his duty. My condolences go the family.
