"Our future must include clean, healthy air to breathe and water to drink; and clean, safe land to live on," Corroon said from the council chambers in the county government complex. "The smoggy air we see and breathe during inversions should become a thing of the past." - Article

It is nice to see SOMEONE care about the quality of the air we breathe.
It sure would be nice if government decided that they didn't need to regulate everything we do, have done or may contemplate doing and then taxing us to do it. Whatever happened to freedom for the pursuit of happiness, that has been taken over by special interests and their cronies in public office?
Some Mayors do a decent job; the less they regulate generally the better off the people are who they govern.
"That government that governs best, governs least."
being happy means you are alive to be happy. I watched my mother die of lung cancer and she did not smoke. silly to say no goverment when you most likley are in support of the drug war that is killing so many people and no end in sight. booze kills more people than all the drugs and it is legal. but Al capones gang fell apart after they made booze legal
@ too smart, The right to pursue happiness ie pollute the air ENDS at my lungs, Utah loses lot's of business opportunity because of the vile air.
