When a Mayor announces that he is supporting a private business enterprise it means more taxes. In this case it is another "permanent tax" of $18 million dollars tacked on to already over taxed homes and property. When will cities and Mayors stop spending its citizens into bankruptcy with higher mortgages and payments?
Contrary to popular publications and polls which are lies, the recession is not over, inflation is near 15%, jobs disappearing, and wages keep declining, when will government expansion and oppression ever end? We cannot tax and spend ourselves into prosperity as economist and Mayors pretend we can do.
