Good news everyone, one less grandstanding, message bill, constitution waving legislator to vote out.
Unfortunately he has tasted of the fruit of public "Self-interested capitalism" service, and will now be insatiable.

If you think he did an amazing job of making Utah an object of ridicule in the Legislature, just wait and see what happens if he makes it to congress.

I'm a Republican, but WILL not be voting for this walking practical joke. Even if this means voting for Matheson.

The Utah Legislature was most likely the best job he has ever had. I sincerely hope that Utah will not elect him to the US Congress. I applaud Mr. Wimmer for stepping down.

Wow, unemployment just went up. I do not see anyone beating Matheson

uhm, no.

Glad he's out of the legislature. Please keep him out of Washington.

Good news. But it will be a real disaster if Wimmer is actually elected to Congress.

Wimmer is a political climber. He should re-consider his attempt at Congress.

Doing a happy dance here.....should get back to work. Uh, well maybe not yet!

I'am glad that Mr. Wimmer has retired from the state legislature. With the wealth of good people running against him in the fourth district I feel he does not stand a chance.

I hope Mr. Wimmer and any potential contributors take the time to read and think about these comments.

Sooo long it's been good to know ya, soooo long it's been good to know ya, sooo long it's been good to know ya and I hope I never have to see ya again.

Funny that this guy is unemployable but is thought (by some) to be electable. I wonder how long until he files for unemployment.
