Crickets.
Ouch.
Losing by 40 to our rival.
Now I know what those folks down south felt like in September.
Almost.
Crickets?
I don't think anyone expected Utah to be any good this year. This isn't even the worst it's going to be. Just wait for Cal, Arizona, etc.
Unfortunately we have to live through the rest of the season. Thanks again to Jim Boylen for blowing up Utahs program on his way out the door. I like many would like to meet him in a dark ally. And yes, this is on him!
Hopefully Krystko can remain upbeat through his multiple 40 and 50 pt beat downs we're going to be smashed with this year. We'll have D1 players next season but we'll be young.
That was one of the worst played games ever at the Division 1 level. Scoring 11 points in a half is an embarrassment.
@ SoonerUte
No, this is just a basketball loss. Losing to the team up north in football hurt far worse.
Would it have been this bad had Boylen stayed?
Can we have an open tryout from the football players now that they are done?
I could see Brian Blechen and a host of others starting over most of the team.
Until next year I guess.
The last 10 points were a Christmas gift from the scrubs.
sammyg, I think with Boylen they may have scored a few more points, but they likely would have given up 90+. I like the direction Coach K has us going in, but it will take some time to resurrect what Boylen desecrated.
Duh, Utah is obviously just trying to position themselves better for the upcoming College Basketball Draft........
Reminds me of Roger Reids firing year. You hate to see a colapse like this happen to anyone. Hang in there Utes. There is a full Huntsman Center in your future.

The vast difference between September and tonight:
--September was one game, like 47-7 for Utah last year
--tonight was just the latest in what has become an endless string of humiliations for what now only roughly passes for a D1 basketball program
Jordan Loveridge and every other Utah recruit has got to be wondering what on earth he's gotten himself into.
An expletive tyraid after 20 games in a year must sound very intriguing to upcoming recruits.
Giggle, giggle. PAC 10.2, giggle, giggle.

You have two good basketball teams, one 85 miles North and one 35 miles South of the U that you can watch. Lots of games on TV for us all to enjoy. Check back in a couple of years to see if the Utes have a winninig season or are replacing their coach again.
22 pts in the 2nd half was twice as many as there were in the first half. Improvement! lol
Hang in there lil band of transfers.

I'll help with the cardboard cut-outs if you need it. But I will have to do it in another color besides red since no one will be able to see it with that color, but then again if we do it in black, no one will see them either due to the lights during the game. I guess you will have to just keep using that football $$ from the BCS bowls to keep buying up the tickets and passing them out to whom ever will take them. I heard that there were some homeless people down in Liberty Park that are looking for a warm place to hide out for a couple of hours some evening.
Frankly I'm surprised it took krystowiak this long to "unleash a profanity laced tirade". At this point there can be little doubt that this is the worst college basketball team in the history of this state. They aren't even vaguely competitive with anyone.
