Comments about ‘Consumer attitude peaks in December’

It's really amazing how this state can take an economic negative and call it growth. The only thing that this negative blip did on the base line of the dead economy is add more debt and negative blip to an already dead economy.

People take a long time to admit they are poor and keep using debt to offset its families destitute life style of "poverty wages" and "over taxation". People are returning to debt out of frustration and dissatisfaction in how their lives have become so meaningless to themselves and their dreams. This new christmas debt will show up in a few months as failed economy spending and more lives and hopes of the american people are mangled by socialism and fear for their future.

This negative blip depression is an economic pit adding to the non recovery.

You think its bad now, if the Socialist Romney, Huntsman, or Gingrich gets elected it gets worse with less than 40% of working americans are supporting 60% of the people. And that's not counting the 50 million illegal alien Hispanics occupying this country getting workers taxes to live on.

Vote out Republicans, Democrats, and lobbyist from government office control.

Barack tells us that cheaper fuel wouldn't help the economy. In fact he believes his green energy like Spain, Britain, Germany is the way out. Yet Utah is leading the way and things are better when fuel prices drop.....maybe that will get some of the "smartest" people in the world thinking....then again when our president is vacationing or golfing or hosting hollywood elites; it's hard to run a country on the left over time.

What exactly do you think is going to happen if the gap between the have and have notes continues to increase which is exactly what is going to continue to happen if we adopt your ideas? We have seen what happens in places where this type of division happens and the wall street protest will seem tame by comparison. I don't know what it is like in your little sheltered world in Utah but I can tell you wide spread poverty will breed wide spread violence and unrest.

Domestic oil production has increased under Obama. He simply understand that we cannot simply drill our way out of long term energy issues.

It only takes one to terrorize and we have 50 million accumulated illegal aliens terrorizing our America and american culture and living on welfare. More business have failed so fewer are being imported by business.

George, have you ever heard of any business man in government support the idea of legal immigration? Business favors illegal because it is a lucrative means business has to evade and defraud us all of income and wages, due taxation for government, SSA, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, etc. They claim to pay taxes but how many file taxes? A lie? As long as illegal aliens can't be identified business is making thousands of dollars a month per illegal as cheap illegal aliens with low wages and no taxes.

PS George, illegal aliens force you to work for poverty wages so you can live in poverty.
