This is a prime example of how education should work, to serve yourself and family, not a master, boss, or overlord. They say it, I say it, and any one who is successful shows it.
Education should serve your personal talents, dreams, likes, dislikes, and desires, not irrelevant education and talents of others.
When I was in my college,I was a frugal student. I took advantage of all resources I could and lived a happy, healthy and easy life. I cook food in spare time, bought used books, sent DIY gifts to friends and shopped online with couponsnapshot's coupons & deals. In fact, I think to be frugal is a kind of active attitude. It doesn't mean to save money, but to live a easy and healthy life.
