Rhett like so many in the state you miss the point. Good article. However, if this is the NEW JAZZ DEFENSE I might want to refer to a present day Musician---"Same as the OLD BOSS"

the team should be ashamed as Kanter has never won an NBA game. At this rate he might have another birthday before that happens.

Okur was a huge disappointment. HE is a leader on the team and has been playing for his countries team and for him to come out and under perform like that is plain miserable.

package Okur and CJ and trade for Gasol out of LA and lets get this team into high gear.

Whatever the defensive scheme it is for certain that Okur and Jefferson won't be playing very much of it. Favors and Kantor seem to want to get after it though. Good article Rhett.

Great review of the game last night. Generally speaking I agree with your analysis, just dont know your grading points. I would like to see more of your reviews as the season goes on.

I would also like to see your review of the Talking Bobble Heads on TV and radio.

Okur is terrible. He wasn't even attempting to get involved in the offense. The two points he had were off foul shots and he got fouled near mid court. Trade him, CJ, and Raja for whatever you can get, they are just taking up playing time for players who are actually good.

How did Jimmer do???? . . . Oh yeah, he is not here, wishful thinking. How long do you think it will take for the Jazz to realize the mistake they made by not taking Jimmer? It is the first game of preseason and already it is clear they could use the shooting of Jimmer. The Jazz should have taken him at 3. Instead, they chose a player who is unproven, who has not even played a game in college instead of a proven star in their own backyard. I hope Kanter proves me wrong.

Okur is not good and Favors should never come out of the game.

Have you ever heard of free agency? Jimmer would be here in a heartbeat if he is any good. but until then, let somebody else develop him.

It's going to be a long painful season, mercifully shorter than it might have been. Every other team got better, we got way worse.
