This is a heart-warming story and this is what Christmas is about. Bringing joy to others.
I think its nice that someone is thinking of others, and I dont want to be a grinch, but why is it that americans equate "Having a Christmas" with presents.
I dont get it. Im in Central America as we speak, and most of the people I know here have dirt floors. No Christmas Tree, and certainly no resources for presents, yet very very happy people. Christmas=Christ. Its that simple.
They were actually allowed to say "Christmas" at school? Wow, where's the ACLU?
The picture tells such a great story! What did that little girl ask for Christmas? Something to use to make presents for other people. So touching.
What a wonderful reminder to think of others and to be truly grateful when others think of you.
"She liked the gloves and beanie she got as well, but those were her needs, and the football was her favorite want."
It's nice to get things that you want, even though you need some items too. It brings joy into your life.
Merry Christmas!
