I'm very excited to see how the Cougs stand-up to a team like Baylor. I think both Baylor and Wisconsin are potential Sweet 16 teams. However, the added advantage of the Marriott Center makes this a game I think the Cougs can win.

Carlino is the question mark. If he improves the PG position, our chances of winning are very good. A win could put BYU into the Top 25 or at least among the "others receiving votes".

We will continue to see this young team improve with every game. They are a lock for the big dance, and have a very good chance of winning a game or two in the tourney.

Not to rain on your "we're a lock for the big dance" parade, but BYU is the 3rd-best team in a 1-bid league. Sorry...enjoy the NIT.

Brave Sir Robin:

Not to rain on YOUR parade but:

Nowhere did CougFninTx clain BYU was a lock for the big dance, just that IF BYU beat Baylor they COULD be in the top 25.

But what will rain on your parade are:

5 losing seasons in the last 7 years, 8 transfers, not knowing how many timeouts you have, and only having a win against an NAIA team.

What tournament will U be enjoying this year...

Meant to say:

Not to rain on your Parade but:

CougFninTx said that if BYU beats Baylor they COULD be in teh top 25. And they are a lock for the Big Dance because the WCC will get more than one team to the BIG dance.

The PAC however will not.

@Miss Robyn,

Joe Lunardi's bracket on ESPN that was just released has 3 WCC team in the tournament.

I'm happy all things BYU bother you. As much as I like BYU sports, I enjoy knowing how much they bother you just as much!

Thanks typical ute!

Brave Sir,

The WCC a 1-bid League? Could you be any more of an obvious troll? The real question is if the Pac-12 will get as many bids as the WCC this season. Not that a cellar-dwelling Ute fan would care one way or another. Here's to getting your RPI above 300 by year's end!

haha all you byu fans are clueless as to what goes on in the sports world. YES the wcc has up until this year been a 1 bid team. and to say the wcc is better than the pac you all are just oblivious to what goes on. everything your cougars do somehow magically is better than whatever the utes are doing lol yes in basketball thats the case (not league but team)football? not even a discussion.

"everything your cougars do somehow magically is better than whatever the utes are doing lol yes in basketball thats the case (not league but team)football? not even a discussion."

When you compare how BYU and Utah ended the regular season, I seriously doubt that the Utes would want a rematch in football. The only reason that the Utes won is seven turnovers.

Kyle Whittingham and Norm Chow are class acts. I wish I could say the same for the Ute fans.

Brave Sir Robin - Perhaps you should venture outside the confines of Happy Valley and check out ESPN dot com where Lunardi has BYU in the field and not as one of the last four in. While the Utah St. loss leaves a stain, Dave Rose teams frequently lose an inexplicable game early (I was at the Lamar game).

To those comparing the Pac 12 to the WCC, it's quite comparable from top to bottom. BYU beat Oregon but, how Gonzaga does with a home date against Arizona will also probably determine who has the best overall team.
