It's interesting you phrase it like that. Each family may have a set of "family values", and you know what? They aren't always the same for different families; and thats okay. They don't need to be the same.
You might value Sunday as the sabbath, but other families (Jewish for example) value Saturday as the sabbath.
You might value Monday as FHE night, and another family might make their family night Friday instead.
Defining "values" is another of those gray areas, as the definition of "values" is relative.
It seems the people who are the most enthusiastic about sharing their values and preaching their believes are among the biggest hippocrites.

You, have every right to proclaim the values, you, subscribe to.
You do NOT have the right to INFRINGE those rights, on anyone else.
