I was going to go back to College when my husband was finished. He went back 5 different times and never finished. I still have not gotten my degree and raised many children by myself due to divorce. It would have been so much better for us if I had a degree to provide more for my family. Women need to get their skills for the workplace just in case. Plus I agree the confidence of having a degree is great to have.

I, too, am glad to have gotten a college education. I may not be "using" it right now as a stay-at-home mom, but I know it helps me raise my children, if for no other reason than to share my love of learning with them and to show them what they, too, can achieve if they work and study hard.

My question, though, is why on earth are you the one paying for your daughter's tuition?
