The last 24 hrs. has shown why Steven Powell can't be trusted.

One may wonder where Steve was the night Susan "disappeared."

Sorry Josh, I don't believe anything you have to say. As a matter of fact, the way you are talking about your wife makes me even more suspicious of you, your father and your siblings.

What a trainwreck! It is apparent that Susan had an "underground" life, and her family wants to keep her holy image intact, but the Powell family is disgusting with the way they have handled this whole mess. I'm thinking Josh is under some sort of spell by his father.

"Underground" life??? pfffft... she married into a scumbag family.
Where exactly was Steve Powell on the night of December 6, 2009????

One doesn't commit suicide and totally disappear without a note or some sign that it was coming...

Josh claims his missing wife committed suicide. I doubt that she did, but she did put her life in danger the day she met Josh Powell and his alleged child porn possessing dad.

As the Powells have shown, when you point the finger at someone, you have 3 pointing right back at you.

There is no reason for the journals to be made public. This is a sad state of affairs here. I am glad to hear that the Cox family are attempting to gain custody of their grandchildren. These children need their own representation to help them get out of their father's control and care.

I hope that Josh has to comply and be evaluated for and by the court; he continues his evasion of cooperation with the West Valley authorities.

I think the judge should be commended and I hope all those with copies do destroy them so they aren't used to blackmail someone down the road. Tabloids like the DN tend to skew the truth to intentionally incite hate and discrimination as they have been doing for 2 years now. The judge should also put a gag order on the police, news media, and all parties to stop the harassment and persecution for no reason.

And what exactly does the WVC police call uncooperative? He just announced he has been cooperative and answered all their questions so why is WVC lying about this? Is he supposed to let himself be water-boarded and tortured by the police? I think not, that's why we have judges and juries to unload that responsibility from the police terrorism.

Person of interest is a hoax, it means their only suspect and the blinders keep getting in the way of a real investigation. Police will spend millions of dollars to prove the truth a lie. If the truth is too easy they don't buy it.

Where was Daddy the night Susan disappeared? Did daddy Powell call Josh and tell him to grab the kids and disappear for the evening, hum? Did daddy Cox come to visit, his loving daughter while Josh was partying in the desert, hum? What,or whom motivated Josh to go off the the desert. Did Josh go off to the desert? if so what desert? Seems a bit of a mystery. Does Josh have any friends,I never read any comments saying they are his friend, and to understand him. Was he socially inept, crippled by his upbringing?

Is Susan Powell alive or dead? Darned if I know; she could be either. There is no evidence one way or the other on which a determination can be made. BUT if she IS dead, there is no evidence as yet made public which shows how, when or where she died and there is speccifically no evidence made public which shows that her husband had anything to do with her death. Logic would dicate that if any such evidence did exist, her husband would have been arrested, charged and tried a long time ago. I find nothing out of line in the fact that he is asserting his Constitutional rights, and refusing to be pushed around by the police -- that's what we all should do if we are being investigated concerning a crime.

If the children are taken fromm their father, they should NOT be placed in their grandparents' custody. Given the way Cox has acted, I can envision him immplanting "memories" of what happened consistent with his hatred of Powell. That needs to be avoided. The children told the police what happened in interviews at the time; those memories need to be preserved, not influenced by Cox.

Josh Powell's court papers said that he cooperated with police but West Valley City said that he did not. To which side should we believe in but Steve's actions is referring us to beleive police more than the culprits.
