pac-10 rankings are foolish, so please Utah fans don't brag about it. The only that matters is that we continue winning football games and put ourselves in a position to complete in the standings for the south division.
Yeah, in your faces other Pac-12 teams, we are ranked 4th! That means a national championship right? Just kidding JP, I know, one game at a time. Seriously though, I think Utah has a good chance to win these next two games because they are at home, but they will be tough gritty wins. Go Utes!
Blah, blah, blah! By years end, the cougs will have a better win-loss record and utes fans will be shouting excuses of tougher scheduling. I can hear the music now!
Re: worf
Your kidding right? All I have to say is SCOREBOARD!!
@worf
54-10: should be 68-10 had Kyle not pulled the starters off early in Q4.
I don't pay much about this Pac-12 power ranking. All I want is the Utes keep improving each game

54-10. Oh the pain you must feel.
LOL
Boy, did the Utes find a great time to join a BCS conference.
The Pac is weak (getting beat up by other leagues), and the Ute's division has little competition for them this year with USC ineligible for post season play.
Then the Utes blow out BYU on the road, which helps the Utes' stature in their conference.
The opportunity's there. So, don't fumble it!
@worf
Man Duckhunter you trying to hide behind other User names now? Sorry you have no room to talk trash this year games over 54- 10. I hope the U continues this momentum with Washington
Bad feelings utah will loose 3 out of next 4 games, Wash, ASU and Cal
According to Ute Pac 10.2 logic the Ute games played thus far mean nothing.
Montana St... throwaway game against a non-conference Div 1 FCS team
BYU... throwaway game, blowout against a non-conference nobody
USC... throwaway game, doesn't count because of sanctions
Lots of bold talk from fans whose team has played nobody this year and ranked #4 in the lesser division.
Gloat all you want about last week, you deserve some of it, but your season is only beginning, week in and week out.
sammyg, the Utes are ranked #4 in the PAC-12, not their division. They are in second place in their division trailing only USC, who is ineligible for postseason play.
But you are right about one thing: our season is only beginning, we need to take these next 9 games one at a time. But as of right now, there is a lot of reason to be optimistic.
Utah played its bowl game last week, now it gets to play a re-surging Washington, look for a letdown loss to the Huskies and Ute fans to start looking around asking why are we 0-2 in the PAC 10.2
After watching ASU destroy USC last night, I would think that optimism might be better replaced with concern. U are not in the MWC any more Dorthy.
USC, what a powerhouse..........who did they play this week???
These negative go-back-and-forth comments (between BYU & Utah fans) are par for the course. It is one thing to have a rivalry, but certainly another to completely lose sight and perspective.
I must say, that I too have been caught up in the conversation. Before last week's game I made bold predictions (based upon my own biased opinion). Then, Utah comes to Provo and kicks our butt!! No matter how you cut it, Utah was the superior team that night. Be it turnovers (forced or unforced), blocking, tackling, coaching, EXECUTION, etc. - Utah was the superior team.
Next year "it will probably" be different. But whether it is or isn't we need to remember to respect each other (teams and fans alike), and give proper credit where credit is due. Not purposely discredit, just to discredit the other team or its fans based upon your bias. That's garbage!
This (and similar) board(s) seem to be a "breeding place" for infected mosquitos that are posing to be fans, but are really just nuisance insects. They get the "real fans" juked-up causing them to become disenfranchised - blaming it on the rivalry.
