This is why our police officers shouldn't be driving around in trucks and SUVs, they're not meant to perform the kind of high-speed maneuvers associated with police driving. Departments used the Ford Crown Victoria P71 for a good reason, but now that they are out of production many have switched to trucks and SUVs, which are known for their poor on-road handling characteristics. With top heavy vehicles like that emergency maneuvers cannot be performed safely. It's too bad this officer had to discover that the hard way.
