I guess by "yards" they mean "cubic yards".
In any case, the numbers given in the article seem inconsistent: (8 to 10 yards per driveway) times (20000 to 30000 driveways) does not equal (60000 to 80000 yards of concrete).
Also, the project has been underway about 75 weeks, and 75 times (60000 to 80000 yards) is around five million yards, but I guess that's "more than 1 million yards".
Driving on this I-15 corridor almost everyday one realizes the massive scale and nearly 24-7 effort by all 1600 workers. This is a huge economic boost for Utah County and the State. I hope they complete it on time and within budget.
