Go Trojans.

The Utes better perform after rubbing the PAC-12 in everybody's face for the last year.

They may compete in football, but we know they can't in basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, volleyball, track and field and everything else.

They may find out that they are the "frumpy girl" and the hip sorority party.

Don't you worry about that. A few years, a few classes of higher level athletic recruits, and a huge increase in athletic budget will have you singing a different tune. Plus, i assume by "everything else" you mean skiing and gymnastics right? Because I'm pretty sure that the U is more than capable of competing in those two sports.

At least we got invited to the party. Have fun staying home alone.

basketball, at the moment, ill give you. baseball is up and coming. But how in the world can you say with a straight face that they can't compete in tennis, golf, volleyball, or track and field? Do you follow all of those sports closely?

And dont worry about Utah basketball, the glory days will return.

Lots of good ski teams in LA, Phoenix and San Francisco. HAHAH

Whatever makes yourself feel better.

MWC Championships the last 10 years:

BYU:132
Utah:49

I know enough about the other sports to know Utah will be the doormat of the PAC 12.

I dont think the U has a mens Track and Field team or Volleyball team? Your really bringing up their Golf team? Baseball has had decent years and the PAC isnt a powerhouse in every one of those sports. Why does this matter so much to you?

Trolling on Utah articles with some obvious PAC 12 jealousy covered with a thin layer of bitterness? "Whatever makes yourself feel better."

"But how in the world can you say with a straight face that they can't compete in tennis, golf, volleyball, or track and field?"

Maybe you should do a little research before spouting off.

The Utes don't even have a men's volleyball team and their track & field team has never been competitive.

On the other hand, BYU has won THREE national championships in volleyball, as well as a national championship in both golf and track & field.

Fortunately for Utah, men's volleyball isn't played in the PAC 12, UCLA, USC, and Stanford compete with BYU in the MPSF in volleyball, where BYU will also be competing against most of the PAC 12 teams in indoor track & field.

As far as skiing goes, NOBODY cares about skiing except for Utah, Colorado, Vermont and Denver.

And in women's gymnastics, the Utes now get to play second fiddle to UCLA, which has won SIX national championships since Utah won their last championship last century.

Better hope Utah football stays competitive, because that's all U have.

Whatever makes me feel better? Ha! Go compile some more awesome stats. I'm sure you'll sleep soundly tonight knowing that BYU has been the MWC golf and tennis champions for the past ten years.

My jealousy is not thin layered. It's thick and stacked. I just think other than football and gymnastics, Utah can't compete in anything while BYU would actually compete very well in the PAC 12 AND sell more tickets due to BYU fans galore. And yes, volleyball and track and field are big PAC 12 sports. Utah is not good enough to even field a team. You might want to try to at least compete

I'm fine, happy and retired at age 41, so I don't stay up at night over this at all. I just think Ute Nation only exists between Logan and St. George and other than football Utah is inferior in practically every program compared with BYU.

Head-to-head, Utah football is only .500 with BYU anyway. Good luck against SC!

I thought a championship from last century was all you needed to be considered the best program ever.

Your hyperbole not withstanding, it's all relative:

recent championship > older championship > no championship

call us when the Utah men win their first championship without the help of the ladies

Hmmm..
Well you could have fooled me USA because you seem deeply concerned. I'm glad you at least admit that you're jealous though. I think you'll find that in the end though,Utah winning those 2 BCS bowl games (in football) just looked so much more impressive than BYU being the reigning Mountain Worst Champs.

Good luck being the frumpy girl who didn't get invited and with retirement. Maybe you could follow BYU to all of their WAC games in all of your spare time?

Achieving perfection recently(twice) > Talking about perfection and never achieving it.

Call us when BYU goes to a BCS game. Call us again when they win it.

These Utah haters make me laugh. They bash Utah and hope they fail miserabley and can't compete on the football field with Pac-12 teams.

What's funny about that is this:

Utah's outshined BYU on the football field the last decade in everyone's eyes across the country, except BYU fans. 2 BCS wins, 2 undefeated seasons, huge wins over teams like TCU, Bama, Oregon, Cal, etc. Not to mention a 6-4 record against mighty BYU.

If Utah football, who has completely outclassed BYU football the last decade on the national stage, and Utah fails in the Pac-12, what does that say about your Cougars?

It says you're best bet is to stay independent and continue scheduling 7 WAC teams a year.

If Utah's a doormat, BYU must be a single thread of mess on the bottom of the doormat.

But you guys feel free to continue rooting for a program who has passed you by to fail, and make you look even worse.

Wow. BYU trolls need a life. I love how they blast our gymnastics national championships even though they are more legitimate than say a college football national championship.

You guys have no idea how good life is. Good luck in LA!

They had need to play much better than the opener against Montana St. Look at Arizona who played NAU, they won 41-10. That is the type of score you need against a Montana St. They are playing USC now!
