well, dang. But I can see USU, coming out of the college football wilderness. They almost crossed the river into the promised land today. So close! Can't wait for the game in Provo this year.

So disappointing! I was pulling for you USU, but down the stretch you played scared defensively and you folded like a cheap suit. Also, that was the worst execution of onsides kick coverage I have seen at ANY level. Hopefully now that you have been in the thick of it, you will shed the "deer in the headlights look" and turn that kind of game into a win the next time you are knocking on the doorstep. Very impressive offensively, though. It's a shame to take a loss in a game you thoroughly dominated at least on that side of the ball. I'm sure your defensive-minded head coach will try to address the issues because you might have just as well put 6-8 year olds out there to stop Auburn-there seemed to be little to no effort there. But, good luck the rest of the way-hopefully this effort signals that you are close to being back in the mix for college football in the state.
