They just want to make it harder for the neighbors to come and watch!

Another politician in trouble.......

Thomas Smith
Sandy, UT

... is charged with seven counts of communication fraud, two counts of exploitation of a vulnerable adult and one count of a pattern of unlawful activity,

Where is the American legal system headed? The pattern of unlawful activity should be the habit of Law Enforcement and Prosecutors which involves multiple charges for the same offense so that they can plea bargain to get a conviction. If someone is guilty of a crime, they are simply guilty...why should they be MORE guilty by viewing the same criminal event through different colored lenses? Plea bargaining is not justice in the first place.

Lawyers are the scum of the Earth. His lawyer used to be the US Federal Attorney for Utah. Started the prosecution of the Elizabeth Smart case, etc. As a prosecutor he would have tried to send this guy to jail. guess he realized there is more money to be made as a defense attorney, jumped ship and now he is defending the same people he once tried to put behind bars. Our judicial system is a joke and once again this shows it's all about money!
