Wow. The Powell family is something right out of Jerry Springer. I don't think you could stoop any lower than Steve Powell has in the past three weeks. Apalling.

Despite disagreements, usual squabbles and differences, I can't imagine my in laws acting in such a manner. By any measurement, the Powells should be ashamed of themselves. As Mr. Cox related, Susan Cox (Powell) is the victim here - shouldn't we be using our energy in looking for her. My prayers are the best I can do right now and they are with the West valley police and Mr. Cox, his family and Susan Cox Powell's children.

Geezzz, at least we now know where Josh received his good manners.

Considering that one of these two men took his boys camping in the middle of the night during the dead of winter as his alibi, either SOMETHING happened to Susan Powell and it was being covered up or he is seriously delusional and unfit as a parent. Since one of the kids is reported that the trip DID happen, I am hoping that delusion really is at play here and Susan is out there somewhere alive and hidden. I still have serious doubts. I hope that some evidence provides closure to the family.

Josh Powell seems like a cold, inhuman person. He wife is missing and all he cares about is playing the abused partner or exuding the "poor me" syndrome. He left the state and is showing no emotion about his missing, probably dead wife except that he doesn't want to be inconvenienced by his wife's family or the police or anyone. Don't the boys miss their mom? Does he even care if they do? Or is he trying to raise his children to be as feelingless as he is? This story makes my skin crawl.

Unbelievable! Why are we giving this father and son tag-team a national stage? It is obvious that they are oblivious to how they make themselves look with these accusations. Please, please, please find something to send these two away for a very long time to a place where they can get some help. Those two young children deserve a better home in which they can be raised, a home where the dysfunction can finally be broken. Pray for them all.
