Great article. This is what life is about!

I have heard nothing but the highest reports about Coach Reynolds being a man of loyalty and integrity. His impact at BYU cannot be measured. What an exemplary Father, Coach, and Human being.

I'm sure happy they were a BYU family. It will be sad in a few years when Houston graduates. I was hoping there was another one or two younger brothers at home. Maybe we will start seeing their sons at BYU in another 15-20 yrs.

I wished every BYU fan could have heard Lance speak at his mothers funeral Aug. 3, 2011. You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his mother. She loved him and glowed with pride when she spoke of him. She instilled in him so much of who Lance is today. He not only talks the talk but walks the walk and leaves big shoes for others to follow.

Sounds like a wonderful family, but this article reads more like it came from the Church News than the sports page in a newspaper.

Maybe you should make a lateral move to another LDS-owned publication, Dick!

Dick, I sure hope you brought Reynolds a towel so he could dry off after that tongue bath you just gave him. Good grief

Lance Reynolds and the Reynolds family exemplify BYU Football and Coach Mendenhall does not mention Lance Reynolds often enough as a cornerstone of the program.

Why can OC Brandon Doman stand next to his QB on the field this season? Because Lance Reynolds is in the box.

Why are our young BYU tight ends beginning to play like typical BYU tight ends? Because Lance Reynolds is coaching them.

Why is Josh Quezada playing football at BYU? Because Lance Reynolds recruited him. (Now add hundreds of names to that list.)

Reynolds deserves way more credit than he gets.

Hey "Kankles" or "Duckhandler," add to all of that: "Who is one of the greats who taught Kyle Whittingham how to coach?"

Answer: "Lance Reynolds."

question who has more o line players in the nfl utah or byu its byu of course in a landslide heck i dont even think that the utsies even have one single player in the nfl ha ha how is brian johnson doing in the nfl oh wait he isnt

ArticunoBYU should do his research before he comments. I am a rabid BYU fan but give the Utes their due. It is still the preseason but right now there are 20 BYU alumni on NFL rosters and there are 25 UTES in the same situation. I hope all 45 players stay with their respective teams and have a great, safe year in the NFL

if Kyle Whittingham could pick his dream staff, coach Reynolds would be the first name out of his mouth, no hesitations... That says a lot about the kind of coach and man he is

Don't anybody think that Coach Reynolds has never gotten better offers to coach elswhere, he's had plenty, but he's stayed at BYU because it was a better situation for his family

ArticunoBYU,

According to ESPN:

There are currently 4 ex-Cougar offensive lineman (including one long-snapper) in the NFL.

There are 5 ex-Ute offensive lineman on NFL rosters.

Three minutes of online research. It's pretty easy - try it.

I grew up with Lance and knew his family. They are as solid and salt-of-the-earth sorts of folks you would ever want to know. The virtues of kindness, friendly, steadfast, honest, and charity are only a few of the attributes I can associate with the Reynolds name.

I'm pleased to see Lance perpetuating the legacy his parents gave him.
