my condolences to his family and friends, how tragic, I hope he is remembered
for his smile and his innate ability to overcome obstacles. It amazes me how we
can measure success by medals however when someone falters it is just as easy to
measure inadequacy, what strength he must have had to overcome so much in his
lifetime. Life sometimes deals a bad hand. Addiction is a disease that causes so
much suffering and despair. So sad.I am s glad he had the moment to breath in
the air of victory and feel sheer joy if only a for a short time. I can almost
feel the exhilaration he felt as he took the silver! Rest in peace, I hope you
have gold now!
Yes. Very. Sad.
How sad! What a waste of potential for this young man. I feel sorry for his
family, and those who knew and loved him, for I am sure they are grieving. He
was fun to watch in the Olympics. My condolences.
