Been there, done that and love the feelings I enjoyed through participation in the Nauvoo pageant. It's a truly inspired sharing of the story of Nauvoo and of many of the important principles of the Gospel.
Hopefully, someday the Palmyra Pageant will be redone to make it more of what the Nauvoo Pageant has become.
I agree with the comments of dung beetle...we too have "done that", and our lives have been changed for the better. Once you experience the spirit of Nauvoo, you will never be the same. We have a son that is participating with the work crews this year, and love having him call home to tell of his experiences. We would love to be with the vanguard group when the Palmyra Pageant is done in this format. The Nauvoo Pageant is an experience that I would highly recommend to any family, whether you are participating or just viewing the pageant.
