Herbert: "One of the things we'll emphasize is the opportunity that we have now in a global marketplace," he said. "We look at China as a country that has 1.3 billion customers of products that we can manufacture in Utah and sell."
Tell us what those products are? Why wont China take every one of them, reverse engineer and compete with us using their nation of slaves? They are Communist China and it is not like the proof hasnt been well established. Thousands of containers come into our nation from China daily, and return empty. There is no fair trade with them. Chinese products on our shelves have already contributed to the loss of hundreds of thousands of American Jobs! Now you shake hands and invite them into our home, this event is detrimental to Utah.
Secondly, why would you agree to bring some of their brightest students to learn more of our systems, infrastructure and information into our Universities? Their country attacks our nation with cyber attacks every day. One such attack occurred recently at the Pentagon steeling 25k documents that many are crediting China for. Now you want them even deeper in our Universities?
