How about some scrutiny as to where they stand on the issues?
I went to their websites to see where they stand and the very first thing that pops up is a "Donate" page. In fact for Huntsman, that is it. No Issues section at all. Mitt has one, but many of the issues are missing. Kind of skimpy!

Come on Jon and Mitt - tell us where you stand!

Based on my understanding of their positions so far, I sincerely hope that neither of them will fare as well as Ron Paul.

Sadly it does not seem like either of these men are very interested in sustaining the basics of our constitution. I also would like more clarification on their stand on the basic issues. I am NOT willing to commit my money nor my vote to a person just because they are 'Mormon'. There are more conservative candidates out there who will get my support.

I hardly think splitting the Mormon voters is even a reality. Somehow we, Mormons, think we are God's gift to humanity. There are dragons out there in the wilderness.

Mormons are not God's only gift, but there are others with a similar mindset. They come vote on every presidential election year and approx 25% vote for the incumbent candidate and with an average voter participation rate of 55%; they get to decide who wins.

2012 will not be a banner year like 2008 was, especially with the Mormons and Republicans divded. A coin-toss will decide, whether Obama comes or goes packing.

It's laughable to accuse Romney (or even Huntsman) of not being conservative or not upholding the "basics of our Constitution."

I see that these two allegedly LDS candidates claim to be a lot of things, and just like Harry Reid, they are also members of the LDS Church. Not much of a difference between the three of them at all, politically or leadership-wise.

Actually, the first article I saw just after Huntsman announced, is his views on the GLBT community. That is pretty stupid for a first article from the lamestream media, (associated press) as if that small minority controls how republicans vote. However, we can't rely anymore on the press to give us accurate information on conservitive issues, so I recommend that people need to do their research.

It is almost comical that the Media is trying to portray Huntsman as a top tier candidate. Huntsman is way to liberal of a candidate for the republican nomination and will never get above 5% in any poll. Romney has already had one Major poll at politico show that he would lead Obama 46 to 43 head to head. Romney is leading in all of the early republican polls. Romney may not end up getting the GOP nomination but it wont be Huntsman that will be any threat. Huntsman is currently an also ran who the media seem to want to prop up his candancy as legitimate. Huntsman is currently only polling at 4% and is currently running tied for 7th.
