As Mormons, it is almost a cultural thing to tick off the list of "famous" Mormons or Mormons who are in the spotlight if even for a moment. And I think that is pretty natural particularly for a minority group like us Mormons.
But it has made me wonder if there is some kind of a litmus test a famous Mormon must pass in order to be on the list? More than half the Mormons by name are no longer active. So does one have to be active? How active? How would someone putting together an article like this know?
Why didn't you mention Bentley from the Bachelorette? He is a BYU grad and at least a Mormon by name. He did an obviously poor job of represetning any faith let alone Mormons in his few weeks on the show. Is that part of the standard of making the he/she is a Mormon list? Many athletes and entertainers fit into the Mormon by name but nothing more criteria. Romney and Huntsman may be a high profile example of this. I don't know Huntsman's level of activity but it at least appears to be different than Romney's.

I thought this was going to be about a Mormon truly being accepted by the intolerant religious right of the GOP.
