Having lived in Utah all my life and now in Missouri by two of these large rivers that are mentioned. There needs to be some perspective of what a "river" is, in Utah, it is like a small stream compared to the rivers in the Mid West. That is like out here, they would consider a lump on the ground a Mountain, in comparison to the Utah mountains.
