Gut check time in Dallas. It's nice to be playing there before the worst of the summer heat but it is going to be a tough one.

RSL can prove their #1 ranking with a win or a draw at Dallas this weekend, but this will be their toughest test of the MLS season so far. RSL has yet to earn a point on the road against Dallas in their franchise history. I'm sure there will be extra motivation this weekend since it was Dallas who knocked us out of the playoffs last year.

1st is a little bit high. I would say more like 3rd or 4th right now.

Chivas is playing well, but I think the team everyone is overlooking is Dallas. They are playing great soccer even w/o their star, they should easily be above Los Angeles and maybe even above RSL, this weekend will show who is better.

Good to see that RSL finally made it back to the top. I think the team that is sneaking up on people right now is Chivas. They looked so bad at the beginning of the year that everyone is having a hard time taking them seriously at the moment. After several ties the wins are starting to come, and after nearly blanking us with 9 men at RioT and beating NY on the road they are starting to look like the real deal. If they have a good game agoinst LA this week I think you can safely move them up closer to the top 5 on your list.
