Kindof a depressing feeling after last night, but RSL has to move on and keep plugging away we can still win the MLS Cup, and get in next year and make another run at this.
I've been to a handful of games this year, and was really just starting to get into it instead of just being a casual fan. I still like soccer and still will cheer for RSL, but Monterrey's delay tactics in the second half really really soured me to the whole thing. If that's the way the game is played, then I probably won't let myself get into it as much as I'd like to. I don't care if it's legal, that's not sport. I've never been so frustrated at a team (Monterrey) in my whole life, and that's coming from a long time Aggie football fan. :)
RSL played hard, the ball just didn't go in. Hopefully they'll get another chance soon.
