As tough as it was, it's good to know that another game is around the corner.
Saborio looked far better than Espindola. At least Saborio put the ball ON frame. Espindola held on to the ball too long and missed the best shot of the night. We missed Becks!
I love RSL. Love the way they play soccer. Congrats to Monterrey. I wish RSL could have made them pay for their tasteless flopping- but that's part of the game. If BIMBO is going to play that way MAKE THEM PAY. We didn't. Even towards the end we had some great set pieces and the ball got through to the garbage man who never adjusted and got to the ball. Saborio's header was brilliant and unlucky. I thought for sure the ball was in the goal... :(
How can you be unhappy. Sucks to lose- but it was a great run. We have some experience now to win it all. Kries is the glue. Give the man a raise and keep him here forever. I'll play for him.
